Speaking of producing creative B2B tech ads, the video below takes on an even bigger challenge; producing a creative spot for Web Analytics-based site improvements. This spot proves that thinking outside the box can lead to some great results for B2B companies. While I can't say I am the biggest fan of the campaign's landing page design, they have taken the first steps towards incorporating the features that most of the B2B world is just talking about. VeriSign has proven that the right social media-based promotional strategy combined with compelling creative can have an impact even a CEO could love.
I can hear the critics calling already with the likes of "I don't even know who this campaign is for","I don't even know what they do" or "what no corporate logo?"; but with 1 million + views since the video was posted, does it really matter? As the folks over at the GrokDotCom blog put it "Only time will tell whether this campaign boosts VeriSign's bottom line, but it sure does its part to spread cart awareness."
