The Sr. Interaction Designer will be responsible for working with clients and internal teams to define the user experience for interactive, web-based projects. He/She will recommend appropriate features, interactions, and content layouts in support of our client's business objectives. He/She will be an active participant in generating deliverables that include:
- Audience needs analysis
- Usage scenarios and personas
- Information architectures for complex web sites (not a technical infrastructure)
- Page-level wireframes that define page content and user interactions (we're talking details here)
- Conducting 1-on-1 and focus group user testing
Additionally the Sr. Interaction Designer will be responsible for keeping staff up-to-date on the latest interactive standards, best practices, and trends.
A bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) preferred, or related field with 3 or more years of experience directly related to defining user interactions with content for complex web sites. Demonstrated knowledge of trends and best practices related to usability. Demonstrated ability to organize large quantities of information into logical, audience-focused structure.
